1. About Us

Neat Neighbours is a cleaning service based in Berkshire, offering domestic and light commercial cleaning. We currently operate as a sole trader business, with plans to become a registered limited company in the near future.

2. Services Provided

We provide regular and one-off cleaning services, as well as optional add-ons such as laundry, ironing, and window cleaning. All appointments are subject to confirmation and availability. We always aim to deliver a high-quality, reliable, and friendly service.

3. Bookings & Payments

Bookings can be made through our website, by phone, or by message. Payment is required by bank transfer before midnight on the day prior to your scheduled appointment. If payment is not received, we may need to postpone or cancel your booking. Prices are clearly stated before confirmation and may vary depending on the service requested.

4. Cancellations & Rescheduling

We understand plans can change. Please provide at least 12 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Cancellations made with less than 12 hours’ notice may incur a £10 late cancellation fee, which may be added to your next appointment. If we ever need to reschedule, we’ll contact you as soon as possible and arrange a convenient new time.

5. Access to Property

Please ensure our cleaners have safe and timely access to your property at the scheduled time. If we are unable to enter the premises or start work due to access issues, it may be treated as a late cancellation.

6. Customer Responsibilities

Provide access to electricity and water during the appointment.
Secure valuables or fragile items before we begin cleaning.
Let us know about any areas that need special attention or should not be cleaned.

7. Health, Safety & Insurance

Our cleaners follow safe, hygienic practices and use products suitable for home use. We aim to provide peace of mind to all clients — insurance cover is currently in progress and will be confirmed on this page once active. If you or anyone in your household has allergies or sensitivities to cleaning products, please inform us before your appointment.

8. Liability

We take great care while working in your home. However, Neat Neighbours cannot be held responsible for:

Pre-existing damage or wear and tear.
Items that were unstable, unsecured, or improperly installed before cleaning.
Accidents caused by factors beyond our control (e.g. faulty surfaces, poor lighting).

Any issues or damage must be reported within 24 hours of the appointment so we can resolve them promptly.

9. Privacy & Data

Your privacy matters to us. Any information you provide is handled according to our Privacy Policy.

10. Changes to These Terms

Neat Neighbours may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services or business. The latest version will always be available on our website.
